THEMATIC 3 : Development and testing of targeting methods

Field actions have shown that (i) social transfers targeting women with accompanying measures strengthen their productive capacity and their feeling of contributing to the needs of their family and to the evolution of their community. On the issue of targeting beneficiaries, the different actions implemented have proven that the effectiveness of targeting relies on a combination of selection approaches with a control and recourse mechanism in order to minimize errors of exclusion and inclusion.
